"Predicting" Corn Yields Prior to Harvest

A continuation of high temperatures will promote rapid grain drydown and the potential for an early harvest. This suggests you may want to start estimating grain yields in your fields prior to harvest in order to help with marketing and harvest plans.

Predicting Corn Silage Harvest Dates

With corn silage harvest right around the corner, timing is everything when it comes to ensuring that you get a nutritious feed product for your cattle.

Farmers Ranchers Corn Hybrid Tour

Despite the slow start our 2010 crops look pretty good and things are progressing nicely!

For that reason we cannot wait to show them off to you.  The annual Farmers Ranchers Corn Hybrid Tour will be on Thursday, September 2nd at 5:30 p.m.  The location of this plot has not changed and is 3 miles north of Farmers Ranchers Agronomy Center on Bejot Farms' Kelly Pivot.

However, we are not only testing hybrids in this plot!!  We also are trying out Winfield Solutions'® Ascend™ growth regulator seed treatment.  There has been a lot of exciting new information given to J.P. and Katie this year, and they cannot wait to share it with you.  You definitely won't want to miss this tour!  We'll see you there!
